Level 6 puzzles are the largest and most difficult. Now that I have my Laser cutter, I can make puzzles with about 300 pieces maximum. Since the largest puzzle I can make right now is about 15" X 11", the puzzle pieces can get pretty small. These are for the most experienced puzzlers.

Level 5 Puzzles are the harder puzzles. They can be 80 pieces and larger.

I have done several by hand with pictures taken from old calendars.

I have also done a two-sided puzzle for my grandson that was fun.

Level 4 puzzles are harder. They typically have 36 - 80 pieces..

Level 3 Puzzles typically have 13 - 35 pieces. They are interlocking pieces forming a picture. These are a good introduction to interlocking pieces.

Level 2 puzzles get a little harder, but still use only drop and insert pieces. However, they are not an outline of an object in the picture. Usually 9-12 pieces.

Level 1 puzzles are the easiest. The pieces do not interlock, but are inserted into a recessed corresponding shape. These can be parts of an animal, parts of an object, or elements of a picture. Usually 4-8 pieces.
